NCWO has several kinds of members: organizational members, affiliate members and individual supporting members.
Organizational Members (Voting)
NCWO, composed of more than 200 organizations representing 12 million members, is open to member organizations that fit the following criteria:
A freestanding non-profit women's organization with its own board of directors and leaders representing a national, state or local constituency whose primary purpose is supporting policies, practices and legislative strategies promoting the rights of women and girls.
Affiliate Members (Nonvoting)
A women's division, department or committee of a larger non-profit entity that supports the NCWO Policy Agenda and signs the NCWO membership agreement
Excluded are organizations that are "for profit" or whose primary purpose is to elect candidates from a single party.
Individual Supporting Members (Nonvoting)
Individual Supporting Membership is open to an individual who supports the NCWO Policy Agenda and signs the NCWO membership agreement.
