Mission Statement:
To extend and disseminate knowledge about women’s economic dependence and its consequences; to bring women’s perspectives into the policy process through faculty and students disseminating knowledge directly themselves or indirectly through work with advocacy organizations; and to identify and train undergraduate and graduate students with potential interest in working toward social change for women, as a way to expose them to the importance of research in building a social change movement and to the possibility of research as a career option
